Allie has spent the past decade building and executing event, platform, and community strategies for Venture Capital firms and venture-backed startups. Her focus has been developing programs, and delivering value through events for founders and executives solving complex problems. She not only focuses on delivering world-class event experiences, but she deeply understands the intricacies of designing an event that is worth a busy founder's time.
Before starting APX, Allie was the Head of Community at early-stage venture firm NFX, where she developed their community and platform strategy. Her mission was to provide value to founders through expert networks, events and programming, strategic partnerships, and in-house expertise.
Prior to NFX, she spent four years with the Alpha Network and Crosslink Capital, scaling the Alpha network internationally for 3000+ members and managing over 65 events annually.
APX supports early stage startups, venture-backed companies, and VC firms to develop and execute small and large-scale event programs to build their brand, and drive customer and network engagement.

Alex Brix is an event producer focused on the planning and execution of high-touch, brand-forward events. Her work centers on logistics, vendor coordination, and day-of operations, bringing structure and clarity to fast-paced environments where details and timing matter.
She has worked with established event and catering teams including Emily Coyne Events, Paula LeDuc Fine Catering & Events, and Just Jayne Events, supporting events across a range of formats and scales. Alex is trusted to manage timelines, oversee vendors, and lead on-site execution for events involving founders, executives, and key stakeholders.
